City Of Macon Municipal Court

• Macon Municipal Court hears traffic and other misdemeanor violations of the Mississippi code of 1972 Annotated as well as building/residential code.
• The Municipal court sits in regular session on the second Monday of each month at 3:00pm at The City of Macon Municipal Courtroom
• Individuals choosing to pay the standard fine on traffic tickets in lieu of making a court appearance are encouraged to contact the court for information. However, there are several traffic and other misdemeanor violations that require a mandatory court appearance.
• In some cases, in lieu of incarceration, the court uses a work release program to allow those individuals that cannot pay their fines to be assigned daily work assignments until the fine is worked off.
